Ganga Nath I had an interesting chat with Shivraj about his comment. Evidently he doesn't think I was really meditating. I asked him how he knew this and if he was omniscient. I've been meditating for 40 years in this lifetime and teaching meditation for 38 years. I've taught thousands of people to meditate in America, Europe and Asia. I think I know what meditation is. He further said that if I was really meditating the photo should not be taken. I asked him if it was wrong for my wife to take a photo of her husband meditating if she found the setting beautiful. Actually, it's no one's business what we do or don't do. It simply is what it is. Take it or leave it.

Auro Lander: Thiru is seeing things in Raman Maharishi's method of self enquiry. but even the Maharishi hadnt said anywhere that formal poise and serene surroundings and asanas are of no importance. Enquiry happens all the time. While Meditation is a tranquil gathering of consciousness. Meditation is a wide term that may or may not follow self enquiry-for example Raja yoga etc. Similarly Enquiry of self may or maynot be attained through meditative sittings. There is nothing like 'True' or lesser true in spirituali life. Its a virgin forest and a pathless land. Whatever it takes.

Yashanvitha Devavarenya: The wishes n desires lead us to b separated from the highest divine.Once the surrenderence n synchronisation with the highest divine happens, then it is success.All can't b unified unless untill all synchronises with the highest divine.Human birth is granted as a chance for the re union. This is not dogmas of the religions or schools, but state of the highest divine. He can't b united with all the evils out there.purification n synchronisation is essential n must. That the first step. Even those who attain samadhi are not blessed enough to get the darshan or communication with Lord Shiv bcos of their ego which manifests as self enquiry- or selfishness:)

Auro Lander: Just as I cannot be a Yogi by just parroting Bagawad geetha, so too a baktivedanta pundit cannot amount much in deciding spiritual life or its practise. Becos its a wide terrain. A bakti vedanta freak believes he had 'known' ultimate things and what should be 'highest' divine just becos he had learnt by rote books on the topic. Unfortunately most times-this just stunts his growth and he acquires a spiritual ego thats worser than material ego. His pedantic 'knowledge' amounts to not much and he starts measuring things and people and expects all to conform to his simpleton formulas.

Thats the relationship between Bhakta N Bhagavan.Rules r there even to grant the prayers.Lord is only bound to bhakti(devotion) which if it gets expressed as meditation, then fine.Otherwise years of many life times of samadhi too becomes fake.Even demon like Raavan had devotion to Lord Shiv.Even Lords of Lords have devotion to Lord Shiv.That is the way which Jesus too followed.That is the way Paigambar followed.
