Yes, my grand ma Saraswathi sold her sacred wedding ring n wedding mangal sutra gold chain too in the year 2000 in my absence,finally to adjust the money for my grandpa's fees to sign the election form, to contest for the election n do good to the people of the city without taking any bribe,before departing from the earth.After few days,I came from another city n assured my grandpa that he would win the election this time n should go ahead to canvas n handed over some cash in his hand for the same.He smiled with his friends n showed to the people what his eldest grand daughter has handed over in his hand.He won the election n became President of the council of Shivmoga though many of his followers had become M.L.A n M.P long back in their young age, when their meeting used to be held at Grandpa's home.But during his cremation moment some drunken alcoholic men came to scold him for not taking bribe n not allowing any staff to take bribe, but for providing the separate new pipe lines for the drinking water supply to the entire city.!!!
